Regulated activities

What is regulated, and what sits alongside it

Personal Care

CQC-regulated Personal Care is provided by Healing Hands from Leigh.

Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury

A regulated clinical activity included in our service development and registration application.

Subject to CQC approval before delivery.

Complementary support

Supported living, tenancy sustainment, mentoring, education, employment support and community resettlement are delivered alongside regulated care where commissioned. They are not regulated activities in themselves.

Every service is subject to assessed need, location, clinical suitability, service scope and current capacity.

What homecare is not

Support has clear boundaries

Homecare is not automatically clinical nursing, emergency response or unrestricted domestic cleaning. Every task must fall within the provider's registered scope, competence, policies and agreed care plan.
